We have been Labrador Retriever owners for 34 years and now own our 4th dog, a 4-month-old black lab puppy. It has been a pleasure to work with Lisa, of Tails of Success Training, for many refresher items. She is a passionate and knowledgeable dog trainer and owner with a keen sense of appropriate successful training methods for us and our puppy.

Develop a solid foundation of basic obedience while learning to deal with real world challenges. I’ll guide you as you develop the skills to solve behavior issues as and when they appear. For example, sitting instead of jumping to say hello or asking your dog to wait at doors rather than bolting each time you open it. With patience and consistent practice we will transform your unruly pup into a polite companion. Pre and Post Baby consultations also available.

When: At a time that suits your schedule.
How: We work together with your dog during private, customized lessons.

DAY TRAINING – “No worries…I got this.”
Desperate for a well behaved dog, but no time to train? Stress no more; this is the program for you. With this fast and effective program your dog and I will work one-on-one while you continue to deal with everything else in your busy life. Your dog will learn in weeks could otherwise take months or even a lifetime!
Where: In your home or other agreed upon location. (While you are shuttling kids or running errands!)
When: Appointments are scheduled based on availability.
How: Using my expertise and extensive handling experience, I train your dog for you.
What: Initial Evaluation (60min), 2-3 Training Sessions per week based on needs and goals set, 1 Weekly Transfer Session where I show you what your dog has learned and teach you how to maintain those behaviors for the long haul, and 1-3 Follow-Up Sessions to ensure long-term success.
Cost: 60 min. Initial Evaluation and Follow-Up Sessions $100 each

What: Effective, efficient and truly family-friendly training techniques for you and the whole family. Each member of the family will learn to read your dogs emotions, play safe and fun games, and correctly teach your dog basic skills like sit, down, stay and loose leash walking. PUPPY/NEW DOG ORIENTATION/TRAINING- “Help! What do I do now?”
Your new pup’s behavior will influence the quality of life of everyone in your family for many years. This carefully designed six-week program will start you and your puppy out on the right foot. I will help you prepare yourself, your home and your family for life with a puppy. Then, using positive reinforcement methods we will we will work together to master the essentials from potty training to basic manners. Later you will graduate to trick training designed to keep your pup engaged and curious while everyone has some fun. Lastly, we will take it on the road to make sure your dog does well in the big wide world. The goal? A happy, well behaved dog that is truly connected to his owners. Pre and Post Baby consultations also available.
Where: Both in your home and out in the big, wide, world.
When: At a time that fits into your busy schedule.
How: Using either day-training or private coaching, we will effectively communicate with your pup in order to teach him the basic manners and expose him to the world in order to assure he becomes the well-adjusted companion you and your family desire.
What: Each session includes a combination of basic manners (sit, down…), development and practice of impulse control (wait), aggression prevention (trading toys) and fun things to do with your pup (fetch, tricks, puzzles).
Cost: 6 sessions over the course of 6-12 weeks = $570
Additional sessions may be added = $95 each
